Mr. Gale Monahan
Partner in Government Contracts Practice at Dentons law firm
Gale will provide an overview of IP law, the OTA guidebook, and the nontraditional defense contractor rule.
Gale Monahan is a member of the Firm’s Government Contracts practice where he focuses on government contracts counseling, litigation and internal investigations. Gale’s counseling and investigations practice focuses primarily on cost and pricing, the Cost Accounting Standards, business systems, domestic preferenc e, and counterfeit parts issues. In Gale’s litigation practice, he represents contractors in traditional contract disputes and False Claims Act cases in the federal courts, in claims before the boards of contract appeals, and in bid protests before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Court of Federal Claims (COFC).
Gale is a past board member for the National Contract Management Association-Denver Chapter and a faculty member for the Public Contracting Institute’s FAR Cost Principles webinar series. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as an officer in both the US Air Force and US Army. Gale currently serves as the president of the Denver Chapter of the U.S. Air Force Academy Association of Graduates.
