Industry is $30 for pre-registration for the Networking Social

Information from NIWC Pacific:
- **The Forum will be held at the NIWC PAC Building A-33 Auditorium, followed by networking social at Building A-33 Cloud Room Veranda. **At 1630h, we will adjourn to a beer/wine and appetizer networking social until 1800h. The charge for networking social is $30 for prepaid industry and $40 at the door.
- **Information from NIWC Pacific: For those who do not have a valid CAC, NIWC PAC leadership has requested to process their visit request IN ADDITION to the SECNAV 5512 form to receive a DBIDS card to avoid issues with gaining access to the command. Military retiree ID’s cards are not considered a valid form of ID per Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL). NBPL informed NIWC Pacific Leadership the process for approving the SECNAV 5512 is TWENTY DAYS. It is suggested that the visit request and the dates on the SECNAV form 5512 start on December 1st, 2022 through May 15th, 2023. It is highly encouraged that you encrypt your emails, as the form has sensitive information that should be safeguarded.
- *The badge office will forward the SECNAV 5512 to Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL) Badge office for processing and approval. The NBPL process may take up to 15 days. Failure to send the SECNAV 5512 by 15 December MAY preclude participation in the in person event. *It is up to the guest to call the NIWC Pacific badge office to confirm if NBPL approved their SECNAV 5512 form. Once approved, the guest must first obtain their day pass from Bayside, Building 174 prior to receiving the NIWC PAC visitor badge. NIWC Pacific visitor badges can be picked up any time after 1400 on the day of the event.
- It is also encouraged to call once the fax is sent to the badge office to ensure receipt of the documents. Upon approval by NBPL, the form 5512 is valid for 6 months. Please reach to Scott Sautter ([email protected]) if you have any questions or concerns.
