This in-person event offers a great opportunity to hear from the Commanding Officer and Executive Director, network with NIWC Pacific leadership and your industry counterparts. The formal agenda consisting of CO/ED Opening Remarks, Department updates, including Organizational updates, and NDIA committee reports will run from 1500-1800.

To attend the NDIA Executive Forum you must do the following:

SEND A VISIT REQUEST (27 APRIL 2023 – 31 DECEMBER 2023)
POSSESS A COMMON ACCESS CARD (CAC)
IF NO CAC CARD; COMPLETE THE SECNAV 5512 (Vetting Form), its approved by Naval Base Point Loma)
INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR ALL VISIT REQUEST(S)
To properly process your Company or Command’s Visit request the following steps are necessary:
For visitor(s) with clearances, you may submit a visit request via DISS and for unclassified visitor(s), a written request on company letterhead via fax or email (if emailing request, please don’t forget to encrypt, DOD Safe or password protect PDF format, before sending due to PII). The written request will be addressed to the Commanding Officer of the Command to be visited:

The visit request will contain the following information:
A) Name, address and return fax/phone number of visitor(s) Company requesting the visit.
B) Name and address of Command to be visited.
C) Name in full and title of person to be visited (NIWIC Pacific Gov’t POC).
D) Name in full of the visiting employee(s), including the title and position of listed employee(s). Visitor(s) Type- Military, Civilian, Contractor.
E) Date of birth, place of birth, citizenship, and social security # of the visiting employee(s). If non-US citizens, the visiting employee(s) need to list their Resident Alien number (Green Card#). If employee(s) are a US citizen but were born outside of US, list Naturalization #, Certificate of Citizenship #, (CRBA) Form FS- 545#, FormDS-1350# or list US Passport # and expiration date.
F) Visit date(s) of requested visit should read 26 April 2023 – 31 December 2023.
G) Purpose of and justification of the visit. If a contract is involved, the contract number should be noted.
H) Name and address of the cognizant security officer.
I) Visiting Companies assigned CAGE or FSC number, and certification of the facility’s clearance level (FCL).
J) Certification of the visiting employee(s) current clearance status.
K) Indicate forms of ID for each visitor(s): CAC/DBIDS for Pt Loma, Military/Dependent ID.

Please have the FSO, SO, President, VP, CEO, Owner, HR coordinator for company sign the VR. Provide Signer’s full name, title, and contact info. Only FSO and Owner can sign VR for themselves.
Please have Trustee, President, Dean or Department Chairman sign for all College VR’s with same info.

SECNAV 5512

If you do not possess a Common Access Card (CAC card), you will need to complete the SECNAV 5512 (vetting form) and return to the badge office via email or fax. Remember to encrypt the email to safeguard the information.
If you send via fax; suggest calling NIWC Pacific badge office to confirm receipt of the documents.
Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL) will review and approve the SECNAV 5512; the process takes approximately 14-21 days. The form is valid for 6 months.
Please call NIWC Pacific badge office to confirm if your SECNAV 5512 has been approved by NBPL, they will NOT contact you.

Reminder: Guests who do NOT possess a CAC card and their SECNAV 5512 form have been approved, they will need to go to Naval Base Point Loma Badge Office Bldg 174 on Strothe Road to pick up a “DBIDS DAY PASS” BEFORE 1400 (the hours of operation are 0630-1400).

Once, they have the “DBIDS DAY PASS” in hand, then proceed to TOPSIDE, Bldg. 27 to pick up their visitor badge before entering NIWC Pacific; meeting will be held in Bldg. A33.
The NIWC Pacific badge office will issue visitor badges starting at 1430; the NDIA Executive Forum begins at 1500.
