CAC’s and DBIDS cards are the only valid form of ID’s accepted by Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL). Those who do not have a valid CAC, NIWC PAC leadership has requested to process their visit request IN ADDITION to the SECNAV 5512 form to receive a DBIDS card to avoid issues with gaining access to the command. Military retiree ID’s cards are not considered a valid form of ID per Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL).
